Cooperation between startups and corporates is important because the two reinforce each other’s strengths and potential. Collaboration with corporates can provide startups with extra credibility. Moreover, corporates can help startups with access to their clients and to an international network, in a way that is hard for startups to realize by themselves. In short: collaboration with corporates allows startups to speed up their process of growth and innovation, and increase their impact. Collaborating with an innovative startup on the brink of regeneration will make corporates more competitive in a market that is evolving at a fast rate.

Could the City of Utrecht be your launching customer? With the Startup in Residence programme, startups are invited to devise creative and viable solutions to the urban and social issues faced by Utrecht and its inhabitants. If the solutions prove successful, the municipality will invest in the startup or become their launching customer. During Startup in Residence startups go through intensive training with the support, knowledge and expertise offered by professional lead mentors, and they'll gain access to the municipality’s network.More information about Startup in Residence
